Our History

We Have a Great Desire to Populate Heaven

A Brief History of Our Church

We have this far by faith, as it is written, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV). We have come a long way. Judah House International USA was founded on March 23, 2015, by the inspiration of God. On the above day, God gives the vision to our pastor, Rev. Joseph T Argbah, to start ministry work in Indianapolis. As God, who is the master planter, always does, He confirmed this vision by Rev. Wegee, the founder and general overseer of Judah House International.

This ministry started with bible study and prayer in pastor Joe Mulbah home. But after many weeks of small group bible studies, we were headed from home to home. The group was finally stationed in the senior pastor’s home. The people at this ministry’s foundation are Pastor Joseph Argbah, Mother Edwina Argbah, pastor Joe Mulbah, other Saybah Mulbah, and Sis. Maitta. Massa. After many weeks of prayer, other people like pastor Garmondy Johnny, Sis. Kolubo Jallah and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Weah join the fellowship.

The vision continued, and the church moved from the senior pastor’s living room to this compound. The first space that was given to the church was 502 National Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. In Genesis 49:8, the bible declares, “Judah, your brothers shall praise you. Your hand shall be on the necks of your enemies; your father’s sons shall bow down to you. Therefore, our enemies have not stopped attacking; the massage area complained to our land law of noise pollution; for this reason, we were transferred to another building. The key was turned over to the senior pastor in the Hendricks Regional Health hospital in Avon, where the land law was taking treatment. The land law God used to propel the church toward its goal was dead in a week, but his grandson built the second Altar with his own money. May his soul rest in peace.

While in that small hall, many people were added to the church, others also left. The people that were added are pastor Rufus Jallah and his family, Minister Ezekiel Dumbar and family, Sister Kebbeh Sorsor, her children and mother, Brother Ben, Brother Peter Joseph, Mother Nora Lloyd, Sister Emmanualine Lloyd, sister Sylvia Greene and children, elder James Nawah and his wife, Brother James Nawah, brother Davis Galey, etc.

Our third move happens after the Chain Baptist church moves out. After moving into the ample space, many people made this church their own. Sister Helen, Sister Lorraine Mulbah and family, Brother Manayango Jallah and family

Friends, as stated from the beginning, we have come this far by faith. The road to success has not been easy, but by His grace, we are still standing on the foundation of His word. Even though this is not where we want to be, we are blessed because this is not where we start. The fight has been challenging; we have made more advances in the heart of the devil’s territory.

By December 2022, the church bought a property at 431 east Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227, and moved.
